"Nova" is now online, the digital platform of the Municipality of Genoa, financed by Pon Citta Metropolitane 2014-2020, in collaboration with Liguria Digitale
Nova is the digital ecosystem that offers spaces, tools, funding, information and opportunities for business creation and development. It promotes networking and matching between businesses with the aim of enhancing the innovative entrepreneurial excellence of our area.
The marketplace already includes 16 public and private partners and 90 subjects, including start-ups, SMEs, spin-offs and large companies, as well as 180 innovative services for business creation and development. In addition, more than 100 products, services and technologies are available; the latter are also available on the Vetrina Imprese portal, created in 2021, which is connected to the platform and was the first step of the path that led to the creation of Nova.
Thanks to this platform, explained Lorenzo Rizzo, Deputy Director of the Digitization Business Unit of Ligurian Local Authorities and Claudio Oliva, Director of the Job Center in Genoa, «companies and people who intend to innovate can identify the services available through an agile navigation system on the territory: access to credit, incubation, training, information, as well as opportunities for collaboration and also spaces in which to build or develop one's business".
"The Nova platform represents one of the elements of our governance - declares the councilor for economic development Mario Mascia - in this way we can contribute to the development of emerging companies and respond to the technological challenges that Europe also imposes on us".
