Genova Smart City Association was on a mission to Santos to forge important economic and cultural relations with the Brazilian city.
From 29 February to 3 March Associazione Genova Smart City had the honor of participating in the mission led by the Municipality of Genoa to forge important economic and cultural relations with the city of Santos, culminating in the signing of a historic twinning between the two coastal cities.
In this context, the Association had the opportunity to meet the Prefeitura, the Associação Comercial and the Parque Tecnològico of Santos, establishing a strategic alliance with them focused on the exchange of ideas and good practices relating to innovations in the Smart City field. The Brazilian partners have shown great interest in the many projects that are being developed in Genoa and there are many areas in which the two cities intend to collaborate in the future: Port, logistics, technology, entrepreneurship, universities, culture, sports and tourism.
