The General Assembly of the Genoa Smart City Association met on 29 July 2026 to approve the 2025 Financial Statements and the 2026 Budget and review the Association’s main activities and future prospects. During the meeting, key topics included strengthening collaboration between the Association, public administration, businesses and the research community, reshaping the Smart Week format and introducing the Smart Days, launching thematic working groups, the new communication service, research PhD programmes focused on Smart City topics, and opportunities to increase member participation and support the Association’s growth. The Assembly also presented plans to establish a Smart Week Steering Committee and a Scientific Committee, aimed at supporting the Association’s projects and promoting qualified expertise, knowledge and best practices.
